We are thrilled to announce the Faculty Knowledge Summit 2026: Bridging Research and Education. The event will be on April 24, 2026, from 9:00 to 15:30 at AUCA. 
 
The Faculty Knowledge Summit 2026 is an event celebrating research and academic innovation through presentations, sharing teaching practices, and discussing findings of research papers that AUCA faculty are implementing as part of their research agenda.

    The School of Oriental and African Studies once again hosted its annual research conference, bringing together scholars to present and discuss their latest academic findings. The event continues to serve as an important platform for critical dialogue on key socio-political and cultural developments in Central Asia and beyond.

On April 11, 2026, AUCA hosted the second Digital Humanities Symposium , bringing together over 50 faculty and students from 10 universities in Bishkek and the regions.

In this interview, Srdjan Uljevic, Assistant Professor at the AUCA GenEd Faculty , shares his perspective on the importance of building a strong academic foundation before pursuing studies abroad. Drawing on his interdisciplinary teaching experience, he discusses the challenges students often face when moving overseas immediately after high school and emphasizes the value of completing undergraduate education in a familiar cultural and social environment.

On March 31, 2026, faculty members of the Environmental Science and Climate Studies (ESCS) Department at American University of Central Asia — Sagynbek Orunbaev and Baktyiar Asanov — held a productive meeting with representatives from the International Water Management Institute.

  On March 26, the AUCA Library, Academic Advising Center, and Center for Teaching, Learning and Technology hosted the “Seniors’ Night and Pizza Party”.
