TSPC Launches Political and Legal Analyses of Factions and Secretariats of Factions in the Parliament of the Kyrgyz Republic
The study was conducted by Tian Shan Policy Center of the American University of Central Asia, AUCA expert Medet Tuilegenov and independent parliamentary experts Gulmira Mamatkerimova, Kurmanbek Turdaliev and Akylbek Sarbagyshov in the framework of the programme "Strengthening the effectiveness of the political factions in Kyrgyzstan" implemented by the Westminster Foundation for Democracy.

AUCA alumna Malika Ibragimova received “Best student research” award
On October 1-2, 2015 the "Life in Kyrgyzstan" conference took place in Bishkek for the first time. AUCA alumna Malika Ibragimova (Economics, 2015) was awarded “best student research”. She received a certificate and Thomas Piketty’s book “Capital.”

Call for International Conference
Call for International Conference “Rethinking Resistance: The 1916 Uprising in Central Asia” on May 20-21, 2016. The year 2016 marks the centenary of the 1916 Uprising  in Central Asia. The largest and by far the most violent national protest against the Russian colonial rule, the Uprising of 1916 remains one of the lesser known episodes in the history of the region.
