AUCA Signs Memorandum of Understanding with Leading Indian University
The American University of Central Asia signed a memorandum of understanding with the University of Chandigarh, a leading university in India, located in the state of Punjab. AUCA’s Vice President and Chief Operation Officer, Dr. Chingiz Shamshiev and Vice Chancellor of the Chandigarh Unniversity, Dr. Rajinder Singh Bawa put their signatures on the document on Wednesday, September 12.

Anna Ginosyan, a faculty at AUCA will be teaching Greek, a freshly introduced language course
Originally from Krasnodar, Russia, she graduated from department of Modern Greek Philology of the Kuban State University. Law Division 2nd year students Bakai Abdykul uulu and Aigerim Egemberdieva, have participated in Nuremberg International Criminal Law Moot Court 2018 which took place at Justice Palace’s courtroom 600 from July 25 to July 29, where Nuremberg tribunal was established.

6th Conference of the ABRN: Borderland Spaces: Ruins, Revival(s) and Resources
The American University of Central Asia hosted the 6th Conference of the Asian Borderlands Research Network (ABRN): Borderland Spaces Ruins, Revival(s) and Resources on 13-15 August.
About 200 scholars from all over the world have participated in the conference.
The conference was jointly organized by the American University of Central Asia; International Institute for Asian Studies and the Asian Borderlands Research Network (ABRN).
